Terms of Service

These are the terms of service for SlimlyMe (the "service", "we"). By using the site and the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Important: this is not medical advice. SlimlyMe is a supporting tool for tracking nutrition, weight and your cycle. Meal plans, calorie calculations and menstrual cycle and ovulation predictions are for reference only and do not replace consulting a doctor or dietitian. Cycle and ovulation predictions must not be used as contraception or for planning a pregnancy. Before changing your diet — especially with an illness, during pregnancy or while breastfeeding — consult a doctor. In an emergency, seek medical help.

What the service does

SlimlyMe helps you keep a food and weight diary, shows diet plans, accounts for allergens and health conditions, keeps a cycle calendar and sends reminders. We may add, change or remove features; we aim for stable operation but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

Your account

You can use the service without registering (locally) or create an account to sync across devices — by email or with Google.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details safe and for activity in your account.
Provide accurate information about yourself — the calculations depend on it.
The service is not intended for people under 16.

Acceptable use

You must not: attempt to break into or disrupt the service, access other people's accounts, extract data by automated means without permission, or use the service unlawfully or to harm others.

Content and rights

The name, design, texts, recipe database and code belong to SlimlyMe and are protected by law. The data you enter (profile, weight, meals, cycle) remains yours — we only store and process it so the service works (see the Privacy Policy).

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranty as to the accuracy of calculations or fitness for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of the service's data, or for any damage arising from its use.

Account deletion and termination

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account); your data is then removed from the server. We may restrict or end access if these terms are breached.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. A new version is published on this page with a new date at the top. By continuing to use the service you accept the updated terms.
