Privacy Policy

SlimlyMe is an app for tracking nutrition, weight and the menstrual cycle. We respect your privacy and collect only the data the service needs to work. This page explains, in plain words, what we store and why.

What data we collect

• Account data: your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your profile picture. You provide these when registering by email or signing in with Google.
• Data you enter yourself: sex, age, height, weight and its history, goals, meals and nutrition, and menstrual cycle information. This is sensitive health data — we store it solely to show you your own statistics and calculations.
• Technical data: basic server logs (IP address, browser type), needed for security and reliable operation.
• Support and closed-test data: if you contact support, we store the name, email and message you send. If you volunteer for the Google Play closed test, we store your Google account email and, optionally, your name and phone model. We use these details only to answer you or administer the test.

Why we use it

• to keep your food, weight and cycle diary and run the calculations (calorie targets, weight trends, cycle predictions);
• to sync your profile between your phone and your computer;
• so you can sign in to your account and we can keep it secure.

We do not use your data for advertising and we make no automated decisions about you.

Signing in with Google

If you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email and profile picture — enough to create or find your account. We do not post anything on your behalf and we do not read your feed, contacts or messages. Google's own handling of your data is described in its privacy policy.

Who we share data with

We do not sell and do not share your data with third parties for advertising. Your data is stored on our own server. Google is involved when you sign in, when we add a volunteer’s Google account email to a Play closed test, and for the analytics described below. We disclose data only where the law requires it.

Analytics and cookies

When you first open the site we ask whether analytics cookies may be used. Until you agree, none are set — the analytics tag loads but stores nothing. You can change your mind at any time: reopen the cookie choice.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used in aggregate — which pages are opened and from which countries — so we can improve it. It sets its own cookies (_ga and similar) and passes technical data such as your IP address and browser to Google. See Google's privacy policy. You can block it with any tracker-blocking extension or your browser's "Do Not Track" setting.

Besides analytics we use only essential cookies, which keep your session so you stay signed in. We currently run no advertising on the site and set no advertising cookies.

The consent request nonetheless lists the Google advertising signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization). We declare them up front and hold them denied: Google requires them on any site where ads might appear, and adding them later would mean asking everyone for consent again. While no ads run they do nothing, and no advertising data reaches Google.

If advertising is introduced, we will update this page before it goes live, set out exactly which cookies it places, and ask for your consent again. We cannot switch it on under consent you gave earlier.

Storage and protection

The connection to the site is encrypted (HTTPS). We keep your data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, the data associated with it is deleted. Support messages are kept only as long as needed to handle the request. Closed-test sign-up data is deleted after the test ends. You may ask us to delete either sooner.

Your rights

You can request access to your data or its correction by writing to [email protected].

To delete your account and the data linked to it, open SlimlyMe, go to Profile → Account, and tap “Delete account”. The deletion removes your account, profile, weight history, meal and nutrition diary, shopping list, cycle and reminder data from our server. Support messages are retained only as long as needed to handle the request; closed-test sign-up data is deleted after the test ends. If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] from your account address with the subject “Delete SlimlyMe account”.

Children

The service is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.

Advertising in the mobile app

The native iOS app may offer an optional rewarded video through Google AdMob. The video appears only after you expressly choose to watch it in exchange for three additional meal swaps. Watching an ad is not required to use the app’s core features.

SlimlyMe requests only non-personalized ads. Your weight, calories, goals, menu, allergies, cycle information, photos and account details are never sent to Google and are never used to select ads.

To deliver and measure an ad and prevent fraud, AdMob may process technical information such as device identifiers, IP address, ad interactions and diagnostics. Where consent is required, the app asks before requesting an ad and lets you reopen the advertising privacy settings from Profile. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
